Mesmo com nomes já esperados, como Deuses do Egito (2016), em 2017 foi primeira vez que um documentário recebeu a indicação a Pior Filme com Hillary’s America (2016), dirigido pelo jornalista Dinesh D’Souza, que conta a história secreta da ex-candidata a Presidência dos Estados Unidos, Hillary Clinton, e do Partido Democrata.
